TOBASICHE Espectacular Saltacielos

The agave known locally as Tobasiche in Miahuatlán is an endemic species native to this region. This variety of Agave karwinskii is prized for its elegant appearance and high sugar content. It is a slow-maturing plant, taking around 16 years to reach full maturity before it can be harvested. Tobasiche agaves are larger than Madrecuishe and tend to grow on rocky hillsides and slopes, where the challenging terrain and poor soil contribute to their complex flavor profile and rich character.
